ABOUT GEROME MANUFACTURING
In business since 1957,
Gerome Manufacturing Company, Inc. has become a well known producer of
custom precision sheet metal products. These products include
magnetic shielding for sensitive instrumentation, NEMA rated and
electronic enclosures, internal chassis fabrications, instrument
enclosures, sheet metal enclosures for computers, power supplies,
and motor controls. In addition to our sheet metal
capabilities, we also provide bus bar and metal-working techniques to form,
shape, machine, heat-treat, and finish various materials.
The primary benefit to customers is a quality- controlled environment
in which responsibility is focused and costs are minimized-resulting
in finished parts from a single source, with the highest degree of
customer satisfaction.
Plants
in Pennsylvania and Arizona conveniently serve both East and
West Coast clients, in addition to foreign markets. The original
Uniontown, PA plant (75,000 sq. ft.) is home to an
engineering/drafting department equipped with state-of-the-art CAD
hardware and software, prototype and manufacturing equipment, and
special equipment for the design of fabrication of a wide range of
products for various OEM's. The
newest plant, located in Tucson, AZ, has been in operation since 1997.
In all cases, proximity to their respective marketplaces significantly
reduces shipping costs and turnaround time. All plants feature
complete "in-house" facilities for advanced metalworking
techniques to form, shape, weld, heat treat and finish a multitude of
materials into an infinite number of fabrications to satisfy customers
needs.
